Monthly invoices for eBay, only used for buying.

Hi,

I've received an email and a message in my inbox in ebay,  saying my monthly invoice is know available.  - payment due immediately. 

NOW I've only ever used ebay to purchase things, I've never sold  anything? Why would I be charged a monthly invoice to buy on ebay? 

It Has only just started,  and I haven't paid a single cent but fifty dollars  (au) a month to browse Ebay  and sometimes make the occasional purchase, not sell. Ridiculous

Any help would be appreciated

Did you happen to sign up for the free Ebay plus, and let it roll into the paid subscription which I think is 50 a year

Is that message also in your eBay mailbox?

If it isn't, it is most probably a scam and you shouldn't click on any links.
