No help from Ebay to get a refund for item never received. Raised a request but received & nothing

Ordered something, never received it. raised a request with ebay and sent a message to the seller. No responce, Ebay closed my request. Now can't do anything, so much for the ebay "MONEY BACK GURANTEE"

Did you follow through with the item not received dispute before it timed out?

The only reason eBay will ever side with a seller is if they can provide tracking proving delivery 

Or if the buyer does not do anything before the time limit is up

If you had paid via PayPal, you could have tried opening a dispute there, where they give you six months 

Money back guarantee only works if the buyer follows the proper procedure

What was the last estimated delivery date of your item?

When did you open the case for a refund and how long was it before it was closed by ebay?
