No notification of messages in "My Ebay Summary"

I have had 4 incoming messages in the last 2 weeks which have arrived in my Ebay inbox but there was no notification in "My Ebay Summary" that a message had arrived.

It was only by chance that I clicked on "Messages" and was surprised to see that they were sitting there.

I had written off 3 sellers as ones who can't be bothered to reply to a message and the other one was acceptance of an offer I had made (the offer only had 2 hours left when I finally saw it).

I have always been able to see at a glance if I had an unread message as next to the "Messages" field there used to be a number in brackets e.g (2)

Any others finding the same thing?

I just checked and I still have a number in the brackets next to messages. You can have mine if you like as it shows 290.😀

Yes.  I’m not getting any eBay message notifications but I do get my eBay messages through to my personal email too, that’s the only reason I knew I had eBay-mail.
