I am currently unable to pay for any items. Chat indicates no issue with my account. I have cleared cookies and cache (as advised), but still getting same message on all devices

Is it possible you have reached your buying limit? (have you recently bought a lot or some high priced items?)
Are the items all from the same seller? (they may have a limit in place as to how much one buyer can purchase within a set period)
Does the seller post to your location/do you have a PO Box/do you have unpaid item strikes against your account?)

EBay checked my account, all good there.
Turns out it was an issue with the nbn network ๐
