Postage in Australia

I'm amazed how expensive postage is in Australia. More often than not the postage is more expensive than the item itself. Makes Aussie sellers look bad, Australia post should be ashamed.

not as bad as USA, bid on item worth say US$60 tops, you pay US$65 because you really wanted it and then have to fork out another US$45 postage to get the item. Rip off. Give USA a miss whenever possible. Your item will come up again somewhere else. Ripped off lots.

Just look for sellers in the USA who do not use the Global Shipping Program.  It is considerably cheaper if they use the USPS.

And you can always ask the seller if they will send USPS not GSP.  I do.
