Profiteering

Why does ebay allow people to profiteer during Covid 19, for example the seller 'REMOVED' is selling Quilton toilet paper more then three times the recommended price at $26.95 for 18 rolls, whilst Big W it is $8.

Ebay should be ashamed for allowing these sorts of sellers do this, besides the disgaceful acts of the sellers

Seems like I hit a sore point from, yes sellers obviously, who are obviously also trying to wrangle with their conscience

If that is your opinion then who am I to contradict you?  BUT you are wrong!!

Re: Profiteering

I know you posted 2 weeks back, but I hope that you (like me) are getting a bit of a kick from the fact stock seems to be returning to stores. I was stunned to see toilet paper at all 3 supermarkets at our local shopping centre. Also supplies of pasta & rice and meat products such as mince once again easy to find.

Shortages are easing and with any luck, the hoarders and those trying to make a big profit will be left with their excess supplies. That is what i hope, anyway. I wouldn't buy from them even if the shortages continued.
