I hate to tell you but you will keep waiting if you have not gone about things the correct way.  Did you open a dispute within ebay?  Its pointless going back and forward with the seller.  Other members (the only ones on the forum) cannot advise you any further without some details.  Its all up to you.

If you need to take action (as in open a dispute) you don't wait

You do it as soon as it allows you to

If you wait, it will time out and you will not be able to open a dispute at all

Even if the seller tells you to wait, or they will resend/replace/refund

Do not wait

Otherwise I am confused as to what your original post is actually about
