The seller has nothing but bad feedback because he is scamming people - including me, out of pocket $500. Ebay has been contacted multiple times and dont seem to be concerned.
I have filed a paypal dispute which wont be resolved for 2 weeks.
I should not have been able to get sucked in by the scam if Ebay had acted sooner

You can't name and shame on the boards.
Did you check feedback before purchasing? What is the item number?
We need more information on what happened. Buyers are expected to carry out a reasonable amount of due diligence before purchasing.
You should be opening an Ebay case first and letting that resolve. Only open a Paypal case as a secondary measure.

Considering their feedback, I think eBay will act very soon (unregister their account).
I am surprised they haven't done anything yet, as you say, as usually they unregister accounts of scammers within a day or so.
Did you look at the atrocious feedback of this seller before buying? When did you buy from this seller?
PS: You are not allowed to name and shame on the board.

Looking at their feedback, I would have run a mile and never purchased.
With so many negs, what made you think you were going to get what you paid for?
