Is anyone else out there getting tired of purchasing items that are said to be in Australia, for example Sydney, with delivery dates advertised to be less than 7 days that never show up in that time frame. Some claim to be posted but are simply booked for delivery with a given company but the item is not actually received for shipment by said delivery company til much later and are then not delivered for many weeks after. These items are obviously NOT in Australia but drop shipped from China. If I wanted to wait weeks for the item I can purchase from other stated China suppliers on ebay and get it cheaper and also know that it will take longer for delivery, rather than expecting an item to be delivered much quicker for immediate use. It isn’t the delivery company at fault because they only have the item booked in and given a tracking number for the supplier to use on the item, they don’t yet have that item. Can ebay do anything about these suppliers that misrepresent themselves??

If it says the seller is registered in Australia (if the item location given is 'Sydney' then more than likely the seller is registered in China)
And there is no mention of the drop shipping in the listing,
have you reported these things to eBay?
Leaving neg feedback would be good
So would opening an item not received dispute when the 'estimated delivery date' shown when buying
If the feedback page does show the seller is registered in China then no, eBay won't touch do
Have you got an item number of one of the listings that you had this issue with?
