I got the item as described and everything, but they posted it a week after I paid for it. Is that normal for full time sellers? I expect much quicker service than that.

If you leave a neg for that, what do you do with bad sellers?
And was it posted a week after you paid, or did you receive it a week after you paid? What is the seller's handling time? Was it a time critical purchase?
Would you expect a neg in these circumstances?

what was the handlling time for the item on the listing?

No you shouldn't,some sellers post items at a specific time and date

some sellers if paid by paypal wait until its been transfered into their bank account, its not good but what can you do
at least you got your item and you are happy with it

It all depends on how big the seller is.. If they're a high volume seller then they can take a bit longer to post items out, but it usually should say in the postage section what the handling time is.

A week handling time isnt the best but each seller is unique and so are their circumstances . What time did the listing say?
A successful ebay transaction that took a bit longer than usual. Not an issue to worry about.

99% of on line sites tell the buyer to 'allow 28 days for delivery' - eBay, only eBay, expect a seller to send an item before it is purchased!!
My (2 peices of) adivce to any buyer who wants to leave negative feedback -
1. SAVE IT for the sellers who deserve it
2. Remember the feedback (and reason for it - or reply to it) that you leave is just as visible on your page as the sellers

See this space next week? When the OP gets a notification that they have replies and deigns to wander back in?
Good thing replies by OPs to questions asked on the boards aren't time specific, even though the timeframe is similar.
