Yes, it has been 2 days in the USA since at least late last year.
I had a dispute opened in 2 days even though the seller knew I was bidding on a number of other items.

It has been 2 days in the US for a number of years now and many sellers have their accounts set to start a dispute automatically as soon as the 2 days are up. The dispute process in Aus actually says 2 days in places but cannot be started until after day 4. Part of the reason is because the US site only allows electronic payments, no bank deposit, cheques or MO etc which can take longer than 2 days.
