What's it going to take to get scam listings removed?

What is it going to take to get this site to be pro-active and remove scammers?

There are thousands of members being ripped of each week,(if they simply gave up as these are listed in

categories without PP protection).

PP would be making a profit if they removed the money from the scammers accounts and then didn't release it

to the buyers,(after all there is no PP protection in Go-carts or Pocket Bikes).

With just 4 scammers below "selling" over 1500 items it could mean some of those and others that they tell

might never buy here again).

Completed "sales" over $5,000 : 251764719472  -   180 items "sold"

Over $11,000 with 15 items and growing  : 281541602952 plus $2,500 on one item in completed  - over

400 "sold"

Some of the ones below have been reported since the 7th of this month and the listings are still sitting there

in completed,stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

8 items,over $7,000 and growing : 281541489835 - over 200 sold

Over $5,000 in completed  : 131384072546

Over $14,000 in completed  : 331418415740 - 860 "sold"

Over $3,000 in completed : 171595679657

Over $5,000 in various scam items :221635381623

Over $3,000 "sold" and over $1,000 in completed from as far back as the 7th,(reported on a regular basis since

then).

The same with this one : 321603982273  , over $6,000 sold  in completed.

This one is still up as well, over $20,000 in completed : 141488104893  , they now have over 40,(only 25 count

as there must be multi buyers).

A new one in go-karts with 13 items :  141488104893 ,gone through to completed and over 476 items "sold" for

over $8,000

New one in pocket bikes with 5 items : 371223634693 , none sold yet,but they could end ripping of members

for $1000's

Reporting them to ebay  seems to be absolutely fruitless. 😞

I agree. Every few days I go through and spend some time reporting them but it doesn't seem to help, Ebay just don't bother. I wish there was something more we could do *sigh*

I took a break from reporting as it was doing my head in. Occasionally listings would get pulled, but then they'd just relist. When reported again, nothing would happen. I even sent eBay an email stating the bleeding obvious and got the usual cut and paste reply. I even went as far as saying that it will be on their head when buyers realise their items aren't going to arrive and with most being low feedback buyers, don't know how to push for a refund in a category that doesn't offer protection.

I think we are pushing schitt uphill.

sheep, I have given up. If ebay  willingly allow this to happen when they have been notified many times, they in my opinion are condoning this RORT and have only themselves to blame. There is absolutely no point in having "Report This Item" tag on the listing if Zero is going to be done about it.

What if eBay was reported to one of the Govt bodies for seemingly condoning this. Would this be possible, & if so who to. Like sheepie said they seem to condone it by their utter reluctance to do anything about it. Paypay should NOT be able to even be selected as a payment option in pick up item categories & this is a perfect example why.

The first item number, 251764719472, seems to have been ended and they have no other active listings. There's a lot of yellow and blue star buyers, which worries me.

I can't believe after all the reports that eBay still allows the fake Makita's to continually be relisted. My guess is they know the buyers have no protection and at least 50% won't know they can fight for a claim so will write it off to bad luck.

Item 141488104893 (fake makita) , check the negs rolling in! I wonder how long eBay will let them keep listing before they realise? Sadly, most of the negs are from lower feedback buyers who think they have lost their money. I guess that's what these scammers rely on.

A couple of them have all or most of their listings removed. One has been made NARU. Makita seller still has all his listings, despite me reporting them all. I might log in with my account that I've never used and report them using that one too. I created a German account ages ago to see whether it could be done without actually residing there. I was going to shut it down when I realised that it could be done, but kept it as I thought it could come in handy one day.

They only have completed listings,(which where reported on a number of occasions),stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

The part is that PP allow most of these to go past the 21 day hold stage,(so they would have to refund the

buyers out of their own pocket).

But because these are listed in Go-carts and Pocket Bikes there is no PP protection they will tell members

that they can't dispute,(it's only the ones that are savy that know to escalate to a supervisor).

It's seems to be that the only way that these seem to get removed is when the buyers complain and the

scammers gets lots of negs).

Then you get these as well:  251735017006

They have removed a few listings and one of the sellers has removed some,(which is pointless if they are the

scammer).

Again it's a wait and see,tease.gif
