What to do when click and collect hub won't accept a parcel?

I'm a seller and a buyer, as most probably are. I recently decided to try a click and collect option as a buyer. We have no postie where I live and shipping to work is painful. Pop over to a BP service station to get my item? Sure!

Seller packaged it, sent it, all tracking good. But then the receiver refused it and it went back to the seller. eBay can't help me as the buyer and the seller has had no luck either. They're told to contact auspost.

Any ideas to resolve this so we're not out two lots of shipping?

The first question I’d be asking is to the BP service centre, to know why they declined receipt of delivery.
