Was the seller in the USA or did you buy on the .com site ? If so that may explain it.

Maybe try clearing cache and cookies then rebooting your computer, also use Firefox or Chrome as your browser if using IE.

If you've tried clearing cache and cookies etc, then all I can suggest is contacting eBay from the link below using either the "call me back" option or the "chat with us" option at the bottom of the link :-

Thanks for that. As the seller has been giving me the run around I started a PayPal dispute. They are responsible for the return postage but wont send me a return label.

If they are overseas, they can't send you an AP label, the only one you can use when posting within or from this country. All they can do is offer to reimburse you for the postage.
Have you contacted the seller with a postage quote, or do you just expect them to pay for whatever gold-plated service you choose to use?
And Paypaol will require YOU to pay return postage.

There have been a few posts on Facebook ebay Sellers Page about members trying to return items bought from Australian registered Sellers on the Au site and the return page defaulting to ebay.com.
A couple have rung ebay who insist the the transaction took place on ebay.com
One member persevered with the call centre who eventually agreed that it was an Au transaction but was showing as ebay.com
They had no idea why but have 'reported' it.
