Why is G.S.T being charged on top of postage? When postage already includes taxes?

Taxes on top of taxes.

When John Howard the **bleep**head, said there would be no extra tax (G.S.T) on the already included tax portion attributed to goods or services.

Also in Australia, the total price has to say includes G.S.T. Not G.S.T is an extra 10%, but included in the price. That was another promise from the honourable lol John Howard.

if you research GST on low value imports you will find a few things that make everything a little clearer (it did for me anyway), including:

- the rule regarding displaying a GST inclusive price does not apply to items bought  on eBay from overseas sellers.  eBay just need to note on the listing that GST may apply.

eBay indicate that GST may apply in several places on overseas items.

edit: I am curious about how you arrived at the conclusion of it being racist.
