emailing an item

uk, heres the problem,    i'm looking at an item,  any item, it doesnt matter what,   i have it up on the screen and it doesnt matter whether i have hit the watch button or not.  now i decide that i have a friend that could be looking for this item.  now near the top left of the page is 4 symbels, one is email to friend, the others i think are twitter and facebook and something else,   now this email to a friend i use regularly,  well i used to up to a month ago.  doesnt work,  will not bring up an adress box to send it,  the other buttons bring up a box instantly,  i want to know how to fix it,  tom

Someone asked the same thing yesterday.

I would say there is a problem with that function.

Perhaps report it to ebay, they may not be aware of it yet. Customer support, contact ebay.

If you have a tab open with your email and have a draft email with a 'look at this' message ready you just need to select who you are sending it to and copy and paste the item number, with the speed (or lack thereof) of most ebay functions it would probably be just as quick and far more reliable.
