In the T&C's below it states that free delivery and returns are only for sellers items that have "eBay plus" on them.

As Padi said, you only get free postage if the item has the ebay plus showing on the item.
Now here is the kicker...... ebay only put ebay plus on items where the seller is allready offering free postage.

As padi said, it doesn't apply to every item on ebay, only those items that are labelled ebayplus.
And that is nowhere neart the majority of items. That is the catch.
A lot of things already have 'free postage' anyway, without being a member. So really, you need to look at what perks you get if you join and what things you normally buy & see if it will put you ahead.
I have seen posts like this before and someone replied that they bought-I think it was Coles? online groceries and with the 5% discount from being a plus member, they were well ahead. I'm not a member but most of the small stuff I buy has postage included.
