"Expedited delivery from outside"

Hi,

I stay in Sydney.

If an item's postage method is "Expedited delivery from outside AU" then

1. does it mean that its coming "from outside AU" ? The item's location says Australia, Australia. Have I missed something in the phrase "from outside AU" ?

2. and more importantly will I be asked to pay for customs ? (I want to purchase a phone with the price AUD 462.)

Please let me know if more info from my side can help you give a better answer.

Regards,

Gaurav Kadyan

It means that the phone will be coming from overseas.

You will not have to pay any Customs duty as the phone is less the $1000 including postage.

Do you realise that if the phone does not work you will have to return it overseas at your own expense....and that will be very expensive as you cannot use Australia Post...it has to be a specialist courier.
