Can anyone explain the identity or meaning of this maker's mark from vintage earrings? Also would any knowledeable person agree they are coral? Any idea of decade?

Thanks. I saw that company ARa but think it is a much later player in the jewellery business.

I would think that with a mark like STG SIL your earrings are Australian (or possibly NZ.)  The only other instance I have been able to Google up is

with the opal, that again suggests Australian. I would be guessing 1940s to 1960'sish, maybe as late as 70s - from here it could be coral (perhaps cornelian - I am certainly no expert.) There is a Mexico Taxco mark ARA but that would more likely be stamped 925 than STG SIL.

Very nice pieces.

Thank you for your comments. The opal ones, though not like mine, are likely to be from same company methinks. I am going to guess mine are coral 1950s. Yes, they are very pretty, aren't they.
