40th Birthday present?

This is for my brother who I don't see that often so really have no idea what his interests are so he is always the hardest to buy for at Christmas.

I only want to spend $40.

Any ideas?

Not many clues I can give except:

He's a bit showy. He's a house-husband to babies. Lives in a McMansion. Doesn't really appreciate beautiful or the finer things - more a fake Rolex kind of guy.

I'm stuck.

That's not a bad idea Flashie.  Men are so difficult to buy for.

Does he have a favourite football team Martini?  If he likes things like a fake rolex he would probably love something from his teams store.

Such as this faaaabulous cookie jar!  His wife will hate you though 😄

He has NO passions as far as I know. He's not handy so can't do a Bunnings thing. His backyard has fake grass (seriously) so not really an outdoor/garden person.

He likes his big (and I mean BIG!) TV and his BlueRay thingy. Thinks he's a bit of wine afficionado and always pulls a face when he sees what I bring to the table..

Wears those shoes that curl up at the toes.

Any other ideas?

Does he drink tea? We bought our neighbour a mug with an infuser in it and a sample tin of teas from T2, he really liked it. No good if he doesnt drink tea though 🙂

Either of the first two are a good choice for a wine snob.  The SB is better ... it's a great wine for drinking and for showing off.

What about a book on wines and wineries.  I just googled and they should be easy to come by.  There is a James Halliday Wine Companian 2013 that is on special for $29 and usually it's $36.
