Update:
South Australian police detectives have made a public plea to help find $35,000 worth of jewellery and two fridges missing from the home of Adelaide woman Ann Marie Smith.
Ms Smith, who had cerebral palsy, died of profound septic shock and multiple organ failure in April, and was also suffering malnutrition.
Police believe the 54-year-old may have spent up to a year sitting in a cane chair prior to her death.
Detective Superintendent Des Bray said detectives are looking for six gold hair clips and a number of gold bangles which Ms Smith had custom made.
"These items are quite unique and are valued at about $35,000," he said.
"If anyone in the community knows the whereabouts of this jewellery or may have seen it advertised for sale they should contact police."
More to come.

She had a brother who obviously didn't care.
Bet he cares about the inheritance though.

I see even her 2 door fridge was missing, how could you do that to some one, she most of had a strong will to live even to last that long

Here's hoping she didn't do a Will - including the carer - oxy there.

I'm thinking it wouldn't matter.
I think because she was intellectually disabled, the parents made provisions, and I'm thinking she only had the house and paid carers for her lifetime.
The brother benefits after that.
All supposition, though

Probably.
She would have not been in any condition to make these decisions for herself.
May she finally rest in comfort.
