Anyone Watching The New Poldark on ABC?

Quite enjoying this series. I remember watching the original in the 70s.

Yes I am watching current series.  I adored the original version and can still "hear" the way Demelza said "Ross" - unique.

I think my grandfather's family was from Cornwall too.

Yes, and I absolutely love it. I loved the original series, too. And, the books, Did anyone notice that Robin Ellis has a cameo role in the current series as Judge Halse?

That's so sad, she was a fascinating woman, I saw her in something else too but can't remember what.

She married a Sir David McAlpine and became Lady McAlpine, also awarded the CBE.

Robin Ellis has retired to France.

I;ll be watching out for his role as the Judge.
