Watch these kids try and figure out what they are and how they're used.
Now tell me how old you feel

Classic.
Incidents like these do make me feel ancient at times.
I was once discussing my vinyl record collection with a colleague and mentioned I also owned ten 78s which I could no longer play as my old portable player couldn't be repaired. Someone came along, heard the end of the conversation and asked what a 78 was. I explained they were shellac based earlier versons of vinyl records. She then asked, 'What's a vinyl record?' I was struck dumb with amazement. She wasn't joking.
Now what compounds that ancient feeling is that I still occasionally buy vinyl records....to the amusement of my family. And unilke an increasing number of record sellers on eBay, I don't believe you can fully accurately grade a record's condition and playability by just looking at it. If the seller doesn't say it's been played then graded then I don't buy.
PS I've still got all my old cassettes too!

Zanadoo, some new artists are now having vinyl albums released.
So everything old is new again

DD has a ' record player ' - it even has a USB port.
She has the weirdest collection of vinyl.
Sadly it lives under the bed with the fluff bunnies.
