It is not so much the fact some people get payouts, it is more the size of the payouts that gets me. I know she had a hip replacement but it still seems an excessive amount of compensation.
I've heard of people losing limbs and getting a lot less than that.

She is very young at 34 to have had a hip replacement....she will probably need to have it done several times over her lifetime and as she has had a payout she will have to pay for it herself. She is no longer entitled to any funding from Workers Comp.
But I have to ask....how much instruction do you need to use a safety step?

Ah but Stawks, those are ladders which have more than one level.....you actually need to move both feet, one at a time, to climb them.
With a safety step there is only one level...step up once...that is all you can do.

That is what I see as a safety step Stawks, but not all of them have wheels that lock when you stand on them.
Now the bottom picture is a different kettle of fish.....plenty of "safety" there but how did they manage to reach the top step? Did they use a smaller safety step to get there?
