Gardening question

Depends if they are in pots or garden and time of year.

The soil should never dry out.

I water everyday in summer but not in winter.

A good way is to put finger in soil and if it's damp, then they probably don't need any water for a day or two.

Thanks Kopes. They are in the garden beds and are growing strongly. I have been watering each day but wasn't sure if it was too much.

At this time of the year you could probably water less often....just do the finger test as Kopes suggests.

I have some potted herbs in pots in an enclosed courtyard and they need water every day....it is a suntrap and they dry out easily.

Jean, in beds and if you are on the southern half of Aus then they won't need everyday watering.
