Australia and Australians don't need them.

They all lie, cost too much and are a waste of time and space.

We need to run our beautiful country for our wonderful people by introducing Referendum system like is done in other countries.

We, the people decide what needs to be introduced, we vote per referendums and competent administrators then 'administrate' the changes.

We aren't nearly as influenced as people think.

As the US has found out occasionally and they don't try to "bully" us.

We also get one hell of a lot of benefits from being close to the US but we are not a puppet. Far more benefits than a lot of countries.

Access to facilities, intel.

Being bumped up the queue for military technology etc when we buy stuff. C17's being an example, we got a couple of one's allocated to the US Mil in preference to the US Mil getting them so we didn't have to wait.

Almost automatic approval for things we want to buy from the US.

I could go on.

Don't forget the USA wont let us buy anything from anyone but them, help. No. We now have to buy an airplane that needs to be fueled four times to get from Sydney to Perth and has virtually no payload. At a price that could se us buy many more much better aircraft. We had no choice but to accept the increase in US military personnel in Darwin at a time when the tanks are antagonizing the Chinese. The USA made us buy old outdated warships. Then when we can no longer use the military equipment we can't sell it to anyone because the yanks won't allow it
