How do I cancel default file naming for pdfs?

Every time I want to name a saved file in the pdf format, the program defaults to a previous file name that I used about 20 documents ago.

It's so frustrating.

I want to give each saved file a UNIQUE name. I DON'T WANT to be prompted to give it the name of an existing file and then have to overwrite that name, wasting time.

I am using Win 8.1 and Mozilla Firefox as my browser but not sure where the prob is.

Appreciate any help, thanks

Hi,

In the save file as window where you type the filename, just highlight the one you don't want and retype the unique name you want.

If you are using a file name that starts with T, all the other file names starting with T will appear because windows thinks that you want to use the name again. Its a frustrating problem.

I hope you understand the above.

Cheers,

Di
