Tas I think that photo was 2013, when White Island had a little blow out.
White island looks small but 70% of this Volcano is under the Sea.

Seems to me that we could drill into some of these volcanos and relive some of the pressure so they don't blow up on us. We might also think about tapping into some of that energy for multiple uses. Between that, wind, solar and the dams at rivers, we should easally be able to replace coal and oil and wiuld be much cleaner.
Just find out where it's safe to drill, and set up drilling points all around Yellow stones. Use the energy heat from the lava magnma stuff to boil water for steam or however they do it with coal to make electric. Set up electric car charging stations and maybe we also learn new ways to advance and explore space while were at it. The key to traveling amoung the stars could be deep within the ground.
Ya think ?
