Oakleigh man, 44, charged with indecent assault at Sandringham
Police have arrested and charged a man for allegedly exposing himself and indecently assaulting a woman at a bayside beach.
Police allege the 44-year-old Oakleigh man assaulted the woman who was walking her dog on the foreshore path near Sandringham's jetty on January 3.
The man, allegedly wearing only a towel and some neck beads, approached the woman about 7.30pm on January 3 before exposing himself to her, police said.
The victim managed to take a photo of the alleged attacker.
The man has been charged with indecent assault and wilful and obscene exposure.
I did the same to a trespasser / burglar I nabbed, he had nothing on him and I was in a hurry so I **bleep** him off
but not until I had taken some photos of him, which I printed out and handed to the police.
I found out the Police like nothing better than a good photo
