i remember when i first started taking notice of F1, the days of alan jones doing it under the aussie flag.
loud cars going a zillion miles an hour!
ok, there were a few deaths, its motor racing at the highest level, its dangerous!
but gradually in the years since then the people making the rules have turned it into a boring 'just another car race'
now they are stripping winners of the win because 'it was unsafe!'
wake up, its F1, its supposed to be unsafe, from begining to end!
teams spend billions building cars safe, fast and well not very reliable.
drivers are paid squillions to steer them, not a lot of actual driving these days.
if safety is such a concern, remove the drivers alltogether, we have that technology now.
its the next obvious step.
