I say 'new' but it's been out a coupla months I think.

I just got the new one and thought I had a counterfeit note.

It no longer looks like Mrs Doubtfire......and that upsets me somewhat

Looks more like Edith Cowan now.

I think it's an improvement, previous ones looked a little cartoonish to me.

The $20 due for release next year around Sept 2019. Then the $100 in 2020.

germs a good for you, if we were to stop having contact with germs our health would suffer.

i really think we get way too much 'germs are dangerous' advertising.

every where ya go now there are handy hand wipes and hand gel to make us safe.

sure if your in a hospital keeping the place clean is a good idea.

but in general, the germs we come into contact with will not harm us, we may get a cold but washing ya hands 50 times a day wont avoid that.

ive been handling money for 50+ years, ive not got the bubonic plague yet.

I haven't found this much of an issue.  Mind you, I read somewhere that in the US most dollar notes are often tainted by cocaine or other drugs, a situation that is on the rise elsewhere.

Australia's plastic notes are less prone to contamination due to lack of the fabric that can hold crystalline structures that illicit drugs often take.  Probably easier to clean off potential other nasties as well if you want to bother with it.

I very rarely have any notes in my wallet, use my card to pay everything these days, so much easier   .... only thing I need to pay cash for are my eggs each fortnight

Use a UV light to view hidden numbers/pictures on the notes.

Apparently there are three differences available to make a set.
