Where will this sort of thing go from here?
will armchair umpires start looking at replays of past events and spot some thing the umpires at the time missed and begin internet courts to get results overturned? calling players cheats?
i dont play golf and rekon it ruins a nice walk in a park but really, is this where we are heading?
Do the golfing rules even include review by home viewer penalties?
Will soccer linesmen get over ruled by TV viwers for 'offside' rulings? LOL

It's a stupid situation as it wan't done deliberately to gain an advantage,(although why she moved it sideways
is strange).
Normally a golfer marks from behind the ball so that this doesn't happen,(I used to have a marker with a V on
it which was always aimed at the hole).
The rule for signing an incorrect card used to be disqualification,(it was amended for exactly this type of
scenario where penalty shots were issued for a previous round).
Some rules are changing next year to allow for some of the accidental ball movement,(as long as they don't
get an advantage by doing so).

What she did was odd, but she clearly changed the position of the ball. Rules is rules, even though some of them may appear silly.
