World cup 2018 kicks off tonight.

32 finalists - 8 groups of 4 and each team plays the others once.

Top 2 teams go through to the round of 16.

Then Quarter finals, semi finals and final.

Aussie, aussie, aussie....................................                                  and Denmark.

like many sports (rugby, USA football, basketball) soccer has no intrest to me.

but i heard a former soceroo captain complaining this morning on the fact one must pay to see the world cup (like a lot of other carp)

well its because idiots are willing to pay to watch it they charge ya to see it fool.

if you all (and i do mean everyone) refused to buy the telecast then they would stop selling it and eventually it would be free again.

i will never pay to watch sport on tv, any sport! in fact i'll never pay to watch anything on tv.

allready my tv is off most of the time.

i dont feel like i'm missing anything.

Agree david, people should realise more that they vote with their wallets.

Just like if we stopped buying Chinese made items, we would solved another problem.

Compelling segment on 60 minutes last night. But that's another story.

And your not missing much at all............................except Denmark doing well in The World Cup.

i saw a little of the story on where all our cheap goodies are made, we in the educated part of the world are quite happy to exploit the uneducated in the world.

i feel it'll all catch up to us eventually.

Poland losing to Senegal and Colombia going down to Japan.

Tonight 10pm - Australia v Denmark.

Aussies need to win and a win to Denmark will mean they are safe.

Still a few chances there although some are slim,(for the Aussies to get through they they need France to

beat Denmark and the Aussies have to score 3 goals more then Denmark).

The way they've been scoring they'll be lucky to beat Peru,

My husband and I have watched several games. Two great games earlier today.

Yes the two draw games were close and exciting.

A close call for both Spain and Portugal.

Now Spain meets Russia and Portugal meets Uruguay in the final 16.

For me, either Australia or Denmark will go through so I'm happy.
