Best chance ever for the Aussies and England as there are some great countries missing and most countries
don't seem to be playing to their normal high standards,
Russia,France,Argentina,Brazil,Germany and Japan should all be favourites in their groups but anything can
happen in the world cup,(hopefully no games will be decided by stupid mistakes by players or referees),

Aussies have Denmark to contend with though.
That could be the deciding match for second in that group for at least one of them to hopefully advance
to the play offs,(but anything can happen),

Well Aus did well to defend and keep it to 2-1 even after making many mistakes.
Gotta say, France are dirty.
Diving twice and blatantly impeding 5 times knowing they would get a yellow and it wouldn't hurt them.
Including hitting the ball with a hand when Aus were dangerously close to scoring.
Very disappointing considering they are the highest paid team.
I have lost respect for the French team and the Aus team can hold their heads up high.
Don't worry, Denmark will bring karma to France.

SPOILER ALERT.
Some big upsets overnight.
The champs go down to a strong Mexico and Brazil need to be content with a draw against the Swiss.
The Brazil goal is probably the goal of the competition so far.
Looks like strong defending is the key to this world cup.
A fabulous free kick taken by the Serb to score and win.
5 more matches to complete stage 1 and I will post the group standings.
