Appalling. If this is what they do in public, imagine what happens behind closed doors.
Hopefully the police will take action.
He will get two votes anyway. What cruel parents.

Could not understand pouring water over the baby just for crying.
That really is going to solve the problem ! NOT

I wish the police would get involved and charge the father with assault, because in my opinion, he assaulted a defenceless child. The poor little boy could have sustained a serious head injury. The father should have been arrested and charged.

I am so pleased someone has reported this person.
To act in that manner in public, I wonder what happens within the confines of the home. The mother too must have problems, if she can allow this to happen. Is she slapped around too?
Anger Management Therapy at the very least should be mandatory for him.

I'm not anti discipline but the head is an off limits area.

While you are right that the head must never be touched, there are dozens of ways to discipline children without physical abuse.

Hmm, I hate watching these types of videos, but I did watch this one. That is a nasty slap. If he'd done it on the childs arm or hand, harsh but probably more acceptable than accross the head like that because clearly the child needed some minor discipline there, he is standing up at the table, throwing magazines around and trying to climb on the table. Not seriously bad behaviour but slapping him like that was way too harsh imo.

I can't understand why the mother (or father) didn't sort out the standing up earlier as you could see it
was going to lead to trouble.
"Not seriously bad behaviour "
I disagree. Mayeb has never been shown the boundaries.
