seems as long as we were able to send our carp to china everything was sweet, but we had no "PlanB"

now china dont want our carp its just piling up in hidden places.

govt has dropped the ball on this it would seem.

Re: is recycling a big con?

i know there are some companys using recyled stuff and creating new stuff with it, but, with the fact our number 1 way of ridding ourselves of the stuff we are creating has gone (china) we need our govts, all of them, to get a plan for the future before we are buried up to our noses in the stuff.

help start more companys that actually convert the stuff into reusable stuff. maybe thats pellets than can be used to manufature stuff we are now using new plastic for.

and paper to use instead of cutting down so many trees.

its happening on a small scale, we need it to be happening on a ginormous scale.

We don't have bins, we have to take everything to the tip ourselves.

We do sort & rinse our recyclables though as they're free to drop off. We also use the washing up water (or sometimes even the water used to rinse clothes) so as to save our tank water.
