How do I get the postage cost reviewed

I'm the winning bid for a jacket but I think the postage cost is exhorbitant.  Similar items have recently been posted to me for half the cost from the same country (UK).  I have contacted the seller and explained this and asked her to review the cost, but she has lodged an 'unpaid item case open' without trying to resolve it with me.  I'm pretty sure she must have ticked a wrong button in some way when she was doing the postage costs, but I'm pretty new to Ebay and not sure what she's done.

How do I get the postage cost reviewed?

If I don't pay, what happens?

Thanks in anticipation of your response

No reviews of postage cost available. Only if costs change after purchase.

It is up to the buyer to check all costs in the listing before purchase or message the seller to confirm costs.

As well, the seller could be using fast delivery, signature on receipt, insurance and other extras.

Or they may be using the GSP which is an expensive service provided to eBay members on the UK and USA sites.

But once again, the buyer needs to check before bidding or buying.

If you don't pay, your account is issued with a strike that remains for 12 months.

Two or more strikes will see your buying ability limited.
