A bit late for you, but I've been having the experience that the tracking on ebay doesn't always show the whole scenario, even to the point that the parcel may show as on its way when it's actually delivered.  If you copy and paste the number into the Australia Post website you'll get the whole story.    https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

Maybe they haven't posted yet.....I have uploaded tracking on 3 items, but no point posting yet, due to Easter weekend. Ebay automatically 'think' item is posted once tracking has been uploaded....another enhanced customer experience (not)...nothing to do with seller....unless your item is coming from o'seas? That's a whole different ballgame

Is it an Australia Post tracking number or a courier, or from overseas?

If it's an AP number you should get confirmation when AP has accepted lodgement of the tracking no.  There can be a delay.

If it's a courier service and you don't know what courier ask the seller what courier is being used. If it's an overseas postal service try entering the tracking details into a general tracking service like 17Track or Trackitonline.
