Is any-one else having trouble with Paypal payments pending?

All of a sudden, Paypal has decided to withhold every payment with the notation "Payment Pending".

There appears to be no way I can gain information as to why, or even where the funds are.

Paypal is not answering emails specifically, and are not answering the phone.

Is any-one else having a similar problem?

Payment Pending usually means that the payment has come from a bank account where there is no credit card attached to paypal.

I paid for a number of items in one paypal payment yesterday and despite changing my funding source to a debit card as I always do the payment came from my bank account and showed as Pending for nearly 36 hours before the money came out of my bank account.

There are definitely major glitches happening with paypal at the moment.

Just keep trying to ring them....try as early in the morning as you can, before they have time to get busy....or late in the evening when everyone else has given up.   I used to find 9.30-10.00pm was a good time.
