Why all of a sudden do I get money into PayPal that is not released to me for up to 21 days ?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me, why all of a sudden do I get money from buyers 'on hold' in Pay Pal for up to 21 days. I have never had a payment issue, and funds have always gone into PayPal immediately. Now, after one 'Buyer" did not pay, and the case closed, all of a sudden payment from others after that date is not released to me immediately.  Seems that Pay Pal is making a lot of interest from funds being witheld from honest sellers !!   PayPal advised that we have done nothing wrong, but would not really give an explanation for this.

Without seeing your PayPal history it's a little difficult to answer.

But at a guess, you had a case/s in dispute and PayPal sometimes holds funds if refunds need to processed due to cases being seen in the buyers favour.

21 days seems a little long but perhaps there were several cases in question.
