How can this happen? What Extra do I need to do to protect my account details with both eBay & Paypal?
It is more than likely your ebay plus subscription or automatic renewal thereof. You need to keep track of subscriptions and be aware of terms and conditions.
As mentioned, you need to cancel eBay Plus before it is due as per the t&c agreed to when originally signing up for the free trial
If not, users will be charged accordingly
