How do you get Ebay to send you EMAILS (not notifications) to notify you that you have Sold an item?

Have searched for about an hour, have checked the Seller settings, can find nothing.  All I can find is information on how to set notifications on your devices (e.g. iPhone), but nothing on how to get an email to your email account (e.g. into Outlook on a desktop).  Years ago I always got an emal notification (when PayPal was linked to Ebay).  Now I regularly miss items being sold and paid for, as I never receive any automated communication from Ebay about either a sale or a payement, as was once the case.  I have to manually log in to Ebay and search.

This post only gives a link to Ebay Notifications. Obviously they did not read the question where it was stated I already know about this and it is of no benefit. What is the solution if you can't use an iOS or Android, and only can rely on emails in Outlook etc?

Where under Communication Preferences do you go, step by step. As I have spent time in tthe past doing this as stated in my original post under Seller settings, all boxes are "ticked", but no emails are received

Email notifications By default, you’ll automatically receive email notifications about your eBay activity to your registered email address. You can change your settings at any time in Communication preferences. You can also receive alerts on your mobile device by downloading the eBay app and following the steps above to turn notifications on. eBay will send notifications for the purposes identified in our Privacy Notice. Click on edit next to " selling activity" and make sure " item sold" is ticked. Also check in " delivery preferences ". In mine it's only got the format for the email but I've never gotten the app so there may be an option in there if at any stage you have used the app.
