How long does it take to close a resolution?

A buyer open a dispute in the resolution centre over 2 weeks ago. We've been communicating back and forth the entire time. The buyer has been proven wrong on several occasions. How long is this supposed to take before ebay does something and closes the case?

It won't close until either the buyer or seller closes it with the options given as resolved.

Or if either party asks ebay to step in and ebay closes in either's favour.
