I have taken up the Free Listings offer.  I ticked the 30 day box and also auto relist up to three times box. 

Now when I click another info box its says ....................selling manager automation rules take precedence if used to relist

and applicable selling fees for each re list will apply.

What exactly does this mean?

If you are using selling manager to auto list such as scheduling listings to start at certain times or other auto features then the 3 free relists won't work as your auto settings will take precedence and if you have used your free monthly quota then a list fee will apply for the relist.

If that makes sense.
