Item sold for far less than expected, what to do??

Item is a pair of new shoes, originally purchase for $30, however they sold for only $3.75. Do I have to just suck it up?? My bidding started at $1.00. What can I do to avoid this happening again in the future?

Yes, you need to post them; that is how it works with auctions, you get whatever the highest bid is.

To avoid having to sell at too low price, you need to start with price you are happy with.
