I have had so many buyers wanting to cancell transactions for items they have purchased in error. Last customer said this
"I think that I clicked something that said I was going to purchase this item, however, this was not my intention."
Cancelling a transaction comes up as a defect on my seller dashboard, how do I stop this?
And feedback would be great.
Thanks
You politiely tell the buyer that are responsible for cancelling if it is their mistake.
if they have bid and want to retract.........
Refer them to this link:
http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?RetractBidShow
or if they have BIN ask them to send you a Cancellation Request
http://ocsnext.ebay.com.au/ocs/sc?&inputtext=INQ_DOCUMENT_OC1926
If they refuse, or you don not receive the request, wait the standard 4 days and open NPB dispute, and close it 4 days later.
More than ever, eBay is not a game, sellers get punished enough I think, so why should you cop a defect (and pay fvf's etc) because a buyer makes a mistake, or simply changes their mind and then claim to have made a mistake.
Sounds harsh, but you need to look after your own interests, eBay certainly won't!
