is it legal for paypal to charge their fee on your 'postage' as well as your item when it is sold ?

just noticed paypal charges their fee on the Sellers'  "postage" cost   ...   as well as the "sold" item itself ...

do you reckon this is double-dipping, anyone ???

especially when you charge the 'exact' postage cost  ...  you lose out as a Seller.

yes of course it is,  Paypal are a money transfer business, you pay a commission on the total amount transferred, it does not matter what the payment is for, ebay items, postage, a present from any online company..... any money transferred from one paypal account to another is charged a commission.
