postage on ebay,

I have sold things on ebay and have had the postage listed. It states the postage is payed by person buying item. But the only money that goes into my account appears to be the item amount that the item has sold for and not the postage. I have been paying large amouns of postage and it appears not being reimbursed for them.

Hi There,   Your listings and sold items, do have postage listed and added to the purchase price.  The buyer now pays the total invoice (including postage) direct to ebay.  Ebay then deduct their selling fees and forward the balance to your bank acc.

Sheesh, you've been a member for long enough to know that your postage costs should be built into the selling price so that , in effect, the buyer is paying for postage.

When a buyer pays for your items their invoice will show item price + postage and packaging, THAT is what they pay.

You do realise I hope that the money that goes into your bank account is the amount after eBay fees have been taken out.
