ACTIVE content - Auctiva - Ebay Active sandbox tool

Propably this question has been discussed, however I use Activa to load and thought as my listings where all still showing Active content decided to do them myself with Sandbox. 300 listings so took sometime but was happy with the result all done and scanned all clear.

New listings through Auctiva are still coming up with Active content so have gone in and changed those HOWEVER most of the ones that had been showing clear have now coded to yellow: "Targets only".

This must have been done by Auctiva in their conversion to Active continent free which is a little annoying when I had fixed them all.

Can someone tell me if through Sandbox are "Targets only" and issue.

Have been talking to Auctiva ourselves re our "active content" problem, and they advised that they should have all listings cleared by the 25th May. But you must have an active token with them.

Our problem has been the counter, and for them to clear that up you must also have your account preferences with them set to "Yes".

Am watching every day to see if the notification has appeared in our account confirming that their changes have been carried out. Nothing yet.

It might pay you to send them a message to just confirm where your listings stand atm.

Never heard of Sandbox, so can't expand there,sorry.

Thanks for letting me know. I have done some more research and believe mine should be okay.

The sandbox tool is a great way of checking your listings.

In case you want to  view the link is as follows:

There still seems some uncertainty about listings that link to Auctiva hosted images.  Not sure if this is the issue being identified as "targets" by the tool.  All my listings are now clear of active counters or scroll gallery but the ebay testing tool still identifies the link to hosted pictures under active content and suggests that we are still awaiting clarification from eBay about how they will treat links to hosted images in listings.

The Targets only issue was not really highlighted very well in the update.  What it refers to is if you have links in your description they have to open a new window or tab now.

So a link such as
<a href="http://stores.ebay.com.au/example">

must have the target="_blank" added or they won't work.
eg
<a href="http://stores.ebay.com.au/example" target="_blank">

This opens the link in a new window or tab
