Account on hold after changing bank account

Hi.

 

I recently changed my account from company to sole trading and replaced a bank account with a new one. Ebay has verified the bank account so there is no issue there. However, I have since all my funds on hold, with a red banner saying that I need to update some information with a link provided for the update. The link won't work and sends me to ebay error page.

Also, I keep receiving email messages reminding me that my account information requires update, following the same invalid link to error page.

I have been on chat with ebay as well as 3 times on the phone on this matter.

10 business days passed and there is no resolution or advise on what information is required from me.

Any advice on what to do to resolve this issue?

Everything has to match across all the ID, bank, address information etc. Nothing can be abbreviated.

 

Try another browser to see if the link works elsewhere.

The bank has been verified, but the funds are still on hold.

Sometimes sellers don't realise that there are two things to verify:

 

  • verify your ID, and
  • verify your bank account.

Did you also change the company name to the sole trading name - or are they the same.??
